The artistic process begins as a series of art works; from colored pencil, to chalk pastel, to watercolor paint. Common themes explore concepts of faith and world view at an intrinsic level. These thoughtful, philosophical pieces are experienced in sensuous displays of warm, bright, colors. Visual articulations are then translated into silhouettes for the woman who moves through work and play with playful, refined, sophistication.
Caterine Sanchez is designed and manufactured in New York City. The first series of work was created in the summer of 2009 and continues to be produced bianually.
